I tested several fabrics for the distressing, and after a lot of trial and error, we finally got the finished product.
When the first sample came out, the designer immediately wanted to keep it for themselves.

The skirt is lined with high-quality knitted fabric shorts – even the lining alone is worth a double-digit price!
Normal linings just wouldn’t cut it for this piece.
